Location. NOSA's Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Slovak Legion, 801 Atlantic Ave., Thunder Bay. Refreshments were available.
This AGM's agenda included presentation of the NOSA annual budget and discussion of club business.
There were short discussions on several minor topics; the major ongoing study is for the future of how we use the Nolalu Range given the recent 2025 low attendance there by members.
The Junior Shooters Program had some suggestions for improving public awareness and encouraging new shooters; and more ideas are welcome. Speak with Samantha.
This annual two-day NOSA Spring Show featured the opportunity for the public to buy, sell, or trade: Guns, Knives, Ammunition, Collectors' Cartridges, Reloading Supplies, Optics, Crafts, and Accessories. A food concession was also on site.

NOSA had an information display about our Club, and our activities promoting the shooting sports including our Junior Shooters Program. This show provides some of the annual funding for the Juniors.
Dealer setup started at 5:30 p.m on Friday 06 March 2026. On-site security was provided overnight on 06 and 07 March. There were 70 tables available at a cost of $50.00 each.
Volunteers from NOSA were heavily involved in supporting this event, from assisting exhibitors to carry their goods in and out of the building and to staffing the entrance and providing overnight security. Thank you sincerely.
Our club very much appreciates the participation of the many interesting vendors and exhibitors that have supported this event, some of whom have been friends for many years.

The last photo was taken at the end of the show, as the weather finally turned sunny and there were small lakes everywhere including this one in the parking lot -- where crows were bathing happily in what was still frigid water -- tough Northwestern Ontario Crows.
Every year we feature some of the members' photos of their recent outdoor adventures -- sometimes from their hunts, but mostly candid photos of wildlife and scenery that they have encountered and enjoyed while just observing through a camera lens. We're looking forward to seeing some new photos.
We received our first photo for 2026 in this category from Wayne Sm. after his trail camera on 19 January at 11:45 p.m. caught this image of a wolf wearing a tracking collar. Temperature was a very chilly -25C.
Then Wayne Sm. captured a photo of a very purposeful looking Canada Lynx out for a hunt in daylight.
In March, Wayne's superb trail camera observed some Whitetail Deer in daylight and then a Red Fox at night.
